David Foley’s plays have been performed in the United States, the UK, and all over Europe. New York productions include NANCE O’NEIL and PARADISE with Blue Coyote Theater Group,THE LAST DAYS OF MADALYN MURRAY O’HAIR, IN EXILE and CRESSIDA AMONG THE GREEKS at the Ohio Theatre, THE MURDERS AT ARGOS at FringeNYC, and A HOLE IN THE FENCE at the Ohio. CRESSIDA and A HOLE IN THE FENCE have also been produced at the White Bear Theatre in London. His play SUFFERING THE WITCH, winner of the Southwest Theatre Association Award, has been performed (as AMERICAN WITCH) at Théâtre de Poche in Brussels and at Théâtre Proscenium in Liege. Other plays include SAD HOTEL, MOTHER CALDWELL, and ANTINOUS, OR THE PROBLEM OF BEAUTY. His three-character thriller, which has been variously titled IF/THEN, DEADLY MURDER, or DEADLY GAME, was nominated for a 2008 Edgar Award and was recently published (as DEADLY MURDER) by Samuel French. His other plays are published by Oberon Books in London. His first novel, THE TRAVELER’S COMPANION, is available as an e-book. He has an MFA in Fiction Writing from New York University, where he teaches. He is working on his second novel.
